Where: at the Tropical Audubon Doc Thomas house, 5530 Sunset Drive.
This is the first general meeting of the Miami Pine Rocklands Coalition under the New Board of Directors. During this general meeting they will provide updates to the latest campaigns to save and restore the Richmond Pine Rocklands.
We will be joined by a Special Guest Speaker, Joe McGuire, Natural Areas Manager for Miami-Dade Parks, who will tell us about the recent arson fires set at Larry and Penny Thompson Parks, and its impact on the Pine Rocklands and what we can do to help. Which will include the organization of a clean-up "Rally for the Rocklands" Work day / Picnic.
