Action Alert:
Time is running out to file Public Comments with the U-S Fish & Wildlife Service to Save the Pine Rocklands and the Miami Tiger Beetle from being bulldozed into extinction. What can YOU do about it? Print this out, sign it and send it off to be counted. If you don't wanna be bothered, you may well be part of the problem and NOT part of the solution.

Re: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes to List Miami Tiger Beetle as Endangered
Please List the Miami Tiger Beetle as an endangered species and all known South Miami Dade Pine Rocklands where it may be found under the U-S Endangered Species Act.
It is critical that its’ entire Richmond Pine Rocklands’ Habitat be preserved and restored for the continued survival of this critically endangered species once thought extinct. Continued Habitat Fragmentation cannot be allowed.
According to your own FWS studies, “The Miami tiger beetle is in trouble because it has only survived in increasingly rare urban pine rockland habitat,” said Cindy Dohner, the Service’s Southeast Regional Director. “Its remaining habitat faces huge urban development pressures.”
We agree and believe the Miami Tiger Beetle and the entire range of South Dade Pine Rocklands where it may be found must be Listed under the U-S Endangered Species Act.
Yours’ Truly,
